Choosing the Right Sewer Jetting Nozzle

The right nozzle comes down to three things: what’s clogging the line, your pipe diameter, and your jetter’s flow rate (GPM) and pressure (PSI). For root intrusion in 4 to 8 inch lines, our Root Cutter series uses rotating cutting heads with rear jets to shred through root masses and hardened deposits. For heavier roots and scale buildup in larger 8 to 36 inch lines, the Tarantula series steps up with a rotating head built for tougher jobs. For clearing large-diameter pipes (6 to 24 inch) clogged with grease, sediment, or compacted debris, the Alien series pairs a rotating front jet with six rear jets for aggressive unclogging. Match your nozzle’s thread size to your jetter hose – our catalog runs 1/8 inch through 1 inch – and make sure your flow rate meets the nozzle’s GPM minimum, since underpowering a nozzle costs you cleaning force, not adds safety margin. Not sure what your jetter puts out? Check the flow rating on the unit or call us and we’ll match it for you.

Bruna Nozzles Corp has been manufacturing jetting nozzles since 1999, and holds a patent (2005) on our multifunction nozzle design. Every order ships nationwide, and our team will help you match the right nozzle to your jetter’s specs before you buy.
